Kayaks

Kayaking and kayaking trips in the floodplains of the BPN and NPN.

Narew National Park, sometimes called the "Polish Amazon," is a delta over a kilometer wide near Waniewo. The river flows through numerous channels and side branches, creating a veritable labyrinth. Countless islands, small ponds, and oxbow lakes provide a wonderful habitat for all kinds of waterfowl. Geese, ducks, reed warblers, aquatic warblers, terns, marsh harriers... make this a unique, magical place. You won't hear any other sounds of civilization here; during such a trip, you'll feel like you're in the Garden of Eden. It's something special, unique, and will surely linger in your memory for a long time; such places are simply becoming fewer and fewer in the world. The kayak glides through a wide channel, then squeezes through the undergrowth, before emerging again onto a lonely, hidden lake. For a moment, we're overcome with anxiety, accustomed to named streets and numbered roads, wondering if we'll reach our destination. However, it is enough to refer to our primary intuition, look at the barely moving current of the river, and we already know which path to choose.
